The Crossing at Hollar Mill is delighted to announce the first annual Winter Farmers Market! The concept of this market began a few years ago when Sarah Wood of the Downtown Hickory Farmers Market and Robert Locke, General Manager of Highland Avenue, saw an opportunity to provide local farmers with a space to sell their goods in the off-season. Many purveyors still have produce, meat, cheese etc. available but nowhere to meet their customers as the weather gets colder. Hosting a Winter Farmers Market fits into The Crossing’s vision of benefiting the community and helping to grow the local foods movement. We hope you’ll join us each Wednesday from November 16th to April 12th and support your farmers!
