“Liam Bailey is an excellent guitar player, but he’s equally adept on mandolin, fiddle, or whatever else he wants to pick up and play on Flesh & Armor, a heady mixture of bluegrass, pop, and American roots music”
– Guitar Player Magazine, Aug 2006

For over a decade, Liam has had the opportunity to perform for tremendous audiences on landmark stages such as Red Rocks, Radio City Music Hall, The Hollywood Bowl, The Beacon Theater and Times Square on New Years Eve. He’s supported artists such as Rodney Atkins and Brett Eldredge on shows including Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, the Tonight Show, Good Morning America and The Today Show , he’s performed with the national tours of Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift, Brooks and Dunn, Martina McBride, ZZ Top, Wille Nelson and many others. He left the industry of touring in 2016.

Liam graduated from Berklee College of Music with a BA in Film Scoring and composition. In the industry of post-production he has composed, arranged, produced and/or directed the music for several national advertisements (inc. Mattel, Kelly Tires, Spike TV, Washington Trust) and television shows, documentaries and films (inc. Pawn Stars, Say “Yes” to the Dress, Dog the Bounty Hunter, A&E Biography, Top Gear, ESPN).

As an arranger, he has provided orchestral and vocal arrangements for the original “Irish Tenors”, Ronan Tynan, Andy Cooney, Rodney Atkins, producer Michael Wagner, Australian pop-star Adam Brand and others. He was commissioned by the Concord NY Historical Society to commemorate the 1908 Great Automobile Race from NY to Paris with a composition for full orchestra, band and chorus.

He has written, performed and produced full-length recordings which have received rave reviews in Country Weekly, No Depression, and Guitar Player Magazine. In 2016, he produced “Goodbye Blue”, featured in Billboard Magazine in 2016 after charting at #5 on the Roots Music Report’s Top 50 Folk Album Chart.
